Whitney Hegseth is a recent winner of the 2021 Rising Stars under 40 from the 7 Rivers Alliance in La Crosse, Wisconsin for her community involvement and her work as a marketer and freelance business owner.
Passionate about marketing and serving others, Whitney is currently the Marketing Communications Manager with Wisp by Gensler where she oversees the B2B SaaS solution marketing functions and aligns them with the current business needs, as well as, the future needs of this growing and innovative business. Through this role, Whitney has implemented a full digital marketing strategy, assisted with writing blogs and driving strategic SEO conversions, and created a larger and more engaged brand presence specific to the Wisp brand..
Always striving to create a better experience for those around her, Whitney is also involved in an assortment of community organizations. She is currently a Board Member of Kevin's Legacy Foundation which focuses on suicide awareness and prevention, a Committee Member of the Downtown Main Street, Inc. that assists with the revitalization and growth of the downtown area in La Crosse, Wisconsin, and a Chamber Ambassador working with local small businesses to connect them to further resources in the area.
Additionally, she owns and operates her own freelance business serving small businesses with social media and leadership coaching, online presence, and website creation. This is her way of being able to utilize her talents in an additional capacity for those whom may not be able to utilize larger resources.
In her free time, you can find Whitney enjoying the outdoors, renovating her vintage 1972 Shasta 1400 camper, or enjoying her very favorite things oysters and martinis! If you asked her what her most prized possession is, she will tell you about her adopted fur baby, Sata Mae. Whitney also enjoys camping, music festivals, and exploring new areas.
In her earlier career, Whitney worked as a Resident Assistant serving the geriatric population, as well as, a Human Resources Manager and Office Manager. It is through these additional roles her passion was ignited for helping others and her servant leadership mindset was born. Her main goal is to always provide more than expected and to make a positive impact on those around her and in her community.
